Third Week of 505
The majority of the week was spent outside of class as it was Fourth of July week, so the majority of work was completed at home. We added more information to our 6 persona projects and started on your 10 pieces of research and completed a quiz during our long weekend.
We came to class on Thursday and went to the library. We learned how to research databases and the resources the library provided online in terms of research. We went back to class and reviewed three peers' 10 search parts. I learned a lot of what was wanted through those examples. We then got into our groups for the last half hour of class to show our own research slides. We were paired with people who had similar topics. Since I was doing mental health, I was partnered up with Maya who was also researching the topic of mental health. She is an excellent writer and all of the slides were precise and clean looking.
